Vaccination for COVID-19 is the path forward to controlling the disease and protect Michigan residents. This guidance outlines the strategy for vaccine prioritization for the State of Michigan and will be used by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), as well as public health and health care, as they allocate and administer vaccines. This guidance may change as information evolves and more vaccine types become available.
Dr. Eric Achtyes, Network180's Medical Director, prepared a video presentation as well as a COVID-19 Vaccine FAQ that we're making available to the public.
Q: Regarding Network180, the RFP mentions a 12-member Board, but then also mentions staff and administration. Can you tell us how many people are formally employed with Network180?
A: Network180 has approximately 300 staff members.
Q: The Network180 website points to at least 32 different organizations, with six of those organizations providing services from multiple sites (Spectrum - as many as 19). Will the Consultant be responsible for assessing conditions of DEI in all of those locations? What about agecies beyond those listed - how many agencies; how many personnel?
A: The consultant will not be responsible for directly assessing DEI conditions at contracted provider sites. Assessment of structures, processes, procedures and practices within Network180 that impact how services are contracted and delivered are within scope.
Q: Is there an estimate of the total number of employees in the internal and external stakeholder agencies?
A: 300 at Network180. Staff number at external stakeholders is unknown but in general staff of contracted agencies will not be directly involved in this effort.
Q: Given the presence of covid-19, can we assume that all inquiries can be conducted either virtually, by telephone, or using electronic questionnaires / surveys?
A: While COVID conditions persist, assessment activities can be conducted either virtually, by telephone, or using electronic questionnaires / surveys. Currently the majority of Network180 staff are working remotely. Network180 sees benefit in an assessment that includes face-to-face and on-site activities and would expect in person work if COVID risks are reduced and allow for face-to-face activities to be performed safely.
Q: Will the Consultant also have access to any of the clients in the Network180 system? Will clients be aware of why they're being contacted?
A: This may be possible. Network180 is interested in the full range of assessment methods that can help the organization better understand and improve diversity, equity and inclusion. Any proposed direct client approaches would need to be discussed and planned collaboratively to ensure client privacy and confidentiality and that client rights are protected.
Q: Can you please share other questions asked by interested vendors, and the responses provided to them?
A: There have been no other questions posed at this point. Network180 will post these questions and answers, and any received subsequently, on the website.
