Developmental Disabilities

Developmental Disabilities often make it very difficult to learn things most of us take for granted like tying a shoe, counting to ten, or even the ability to control physical movements and speak clearly. These disabilities usually appear before a person is 22-years-old and include, among others, mental retardation, down syndrome, and autism.

Although there is no cure for a developmental disability, network180 supports a full system of services that help children, adults, their families, and friends. Please be encouraged to use this website as a portal for information and other resources about current programs, contract agencies, publications, micro-enterprise possibilities, useful links and frequently asked questions.

Services for individuals with a developmental disability can be accessed by calling the access center within Thresholds at 616.235.6604.
